Job description – Korea Regional Sales Manager, Maritime BU
The position will be responsible for Sales & Marketing within a given territory in a Sales Region with a focus on Korea.
• Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas while adhering to the company¡¯s sales rules of engagement.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenues and gross margins within existing accounts and expand the account base in target markets.
• Work with Market BU¡¯s, Marketing, Sales Engineers and Customer Services teams to maximize opportunities and execute on sales strategies.
• With a two-tier channel partner model, maintain existing channel partners as well as developing new channel partners as required.
• Establish business plans for all key areas and ensure successful execution of these.
• Maintain and/or establish relationship at required levels with end-users.
• Conduct short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management using Salesforce as the tool.
• Present and position the company¡¯s solutions on a high level.
• Articulate the company¡¯s strategies to customers.
• Ensure that all partners are getting sales and tech training on an on-going frequency.
• Introduce new products to partners and ensure that these are successfully adopted.
• Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows.
• Prepare written presentations, reports, and price quotations.
• Provide accurate and timely forecasts to sales management.
Key Requirements
• Bachelor or above degree in EE or Business Administration related major is preferred.
• Over 5 years of working experience in related industry with at least 3 years in managerial position in either the maritime communication industry or within related industries or technologies. Familiar with IP technologies is preferred.
• Demonstrate proven track record in building international business
• Has the ability and experience to carry effective dialogue with key stakeholders including counterparts in other offices, clients, and all levels of employees
• Bilingual (Korean and English) is a must
